This lesson walks through the text of 1 Corinthians 12:15-21. Paul tells the Corinthians that each part of the body (the church) is divinely placed by God. No part should feel inferior and has a unique function. Also, no part should think itself superior or feel that others are not necessary.
This is a textual lesson from 1 Corinthians 12:1-14. The character of God Himself is diverse (Father, Son, Spirit) and the way He manifests Himself in members of the Church through the Spirit is also diverse. It is the same Spirit who manifests Himself through us in different ways. And it is that same Spirit that unifies us together into one body. We are all baptized by the same Spirit into the body and we are also made to drink from the same Spirit.
This is a textual lesson from Paul’s letter to the church of Christ in Corinth. The lesson comes from chapter 7:25-40. Paul is instructing the church concerning virgins, most likely young betrothed ladies and whether they should go through with their proposed marriages or remain single to more fully serve Christ.
